The State Examination in South Kivu: 62,024 students ready to take on the academic challenge

Bukavu, June 22 (ACP) – Exam period is a crucial time for thousands of young students around the world, and the South Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of Congo is no exception. With the 2023-2024 State Examination tests approaching, 62,024 secondary school finalist candidates are preparing to take on this important academic challenge.

Under the supervision of the provincial Minister of Education, David Mubalama, the provincial examination committee took all necessary measures to ensure the smooth running of these crucial tests. The official launch of these exams is scheduled for Monday in Bukavu, marking the start of an intense and decisive period for these thousands of students.

In the South Kivu 1 educational province, headed by the Chief Provincial Inspector of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education, Jean-Marie Mwayesi, there are no less than 37,523 candidates from the schools of Bukavu, Walungu, Kabare, Idjwi and Kalehe. These young people will be put to the test to assess their knowledge and know-how, in the hope of successfully obtaining their diploma.

South Kivu, with its different educational provinces, is therefore preparing to support these thousands of young people towards a crucial stage of their academic career. Local education authorities have put in place the necessary arrangements to ensure fair and equitable examinations, with the aim of allowing each student to demonstrate their potential and skills.
