In a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, Ahmadu stressed the importance of determination and self-belief in overcoming adversity. It encourages seizing opportunities for growth, taking advantage of available resources, and surrounding yourself with mentors and support networks. His exceptional journey, marked by personal and educational challenges, testifies to his ability to overcome obstacles. Having attended sixteen primary schools and fourteen secondary schools due to family problems, he did not hesitate to retake his secondary level exams seventeen times over five years before passing. His perseverance eventually led him to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Benin, where he was recognized as an outstanding student.
In 2018, Ahmadu was awarded the Outstanding Student of the Year in West Africa, a signal of his meteoric rise in the field of communications. Across borders, he continued to shine, receiving accolades such as “Big-Hearted Distinguished Student Leader” and “Mental Health Advocate of the Year.”
His commitment to peace, sustainable mental well-being and hope has been so remarkable that he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in International Affairs by Global Seminary University in New York, in collaboration with GEPEA University in Portugal. This honor recognizes his significant contributions on a global scale.
