The Fédération Congolaise de Football Association (Fecofa) announced last Saturday the results of the teams qualified for next season’s African club competitions, based on the accumulation of points over the past four seasons. Three teams distinguished themselves by occupying the first three places: they are Mazembe, V.Club, and Maniema Union.
The decision made people unhappy, because Daring Club Motema Pembe (Dcmp) and FC Saint Eloi Lupopo remained at the gates of qualification. The national championship having been stopped since December 2022 due to lack of means, Fecofa, together with the clubs, had decided to stop the edition.
