The vice-governor of the province of Haut-Katanga, Jean-Claude Kamfwa, gave the go for the National examination of the end of primary studies (Enafep), which took place in the educational province of Haut-Katanga 1 , based in Lubumbashi (Haut-Katanga). The ceremony took place in the grounds of the Hodari de la Ruashi high school, in the Lubumbashi 3 sub-division.

According to the main provincial inspector of Epst Haut-Katanga 1, Nicolas Nyange Bizy, the educational province has more girls than boys, ie 50.2% against 49.8% of boys. “Our educational province of Haut-Katanga 1 has 141,414 primary school finalists this year, including 70,987 girls, or 50.2% and 70,427 boys, or 49.8%,” he said.

This rapid growth in numbers in the final year of primary school is the result of free education decreed by the Head of State, according to the provincial chief inspector of Epst Haut-Katanga 1.

The exam consists of two tests: French and general knowledge for Thursday June 1, 2023, mathematics and science on Friday June 2, 2023.

Passing the exam is essential for students wishing to continue their studies. The educational province of Haut-Katanga 1 is one of the main providers of future Congolese students. The results of the examination will be known in the coming weeks.
