In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the province of Kasai is experiencing work to fill ravines. This initiative was launched by the governor of the province, Dieudonné Pieme, on Friday 2 June. To do this, the central government sent a batch of machinery and anti-erosion materials. This intervention was greatly appreciated by the population, who thank the President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi for his diligence. The work aims to eradicate this ravine, which threatens the lives of some residents of the province.
The inhabitants of the province of Kasai are asked to lend a hand to the executives of the Roads and Drainage Office (OVD) as well as to the security services committed to work and secure the said works.
This initiative is an example of the involvement of the Congolese government in the search for solutions to the problems that disturb the tranquility of the inhabitants of the country. It is therefore not surprising that the population shows its satisfaction.
In a context where the Congolese news is marked by the difficult security situation, this intervention makes it possible to restore hope and optimism. However, it is important that the authorities remain vigilant to prevent the work from being interrupted or becoming a source of conflict.
In short, this initiative is a fine example of what the Congolese authorities can achieve when they work for the well-being of the population. This kind of action can help to strengthen the confidence of the population in the rulers, as well as social cohesion in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
