The National Primary School Leaving Examination (ENAFEP) 2023 edition began on Thursday June 1 in the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This year, 52,784 primary school finalists, including 23,467 girls and 29,317 boys from the educational province of EPST Kasaï 1, will take the ENAFEP throughout the national territory.
The Vice-Governor of Kasai Province kicked off the exam, emphasizing the importance of determination and calm during the two days of testing. He reminded the candidates that the future of the country was in their hands and that it was important to work with calm and determination to obtain good results.
It should be noted that the tests take place free of charge and will end on Friday, June 2, 2023. Success in this exam is crucial for students who then move on to the next stage of their education.
This event is a major challenge for the Congolese education system, which faces many challenges, particularly in terms of funding, infrastructure and quality of education. The political and administrative authorities thus have a great responsibility in the success of this examination.
Beyond the review, education remains a key issue for the development of the DRC, and the public authorities must continue to invest in improving the quality of education and increasing access to education for all. country children
