Launch of ENAFEP 2023: More than 60,000 candidates present themselves for the final examination of primary studies in Kasaï Central.

It is with joy that we announce today that the national primary school leaving exam (ENAFEP) 2023 edition has started on Thursday, June 1st. This news was announced by the Minister of Education of the educational province Kasaï Central 1. This year, there are 62,107 finalist candidates, including 29,233 girls, who participate in these tests, the closing of which is scheduled for this Thursday, June 2.

Opening ceremony

To kick off this event, the vice-governor of Kasai Central province, Martin Makita Nfuamba, presided over the opening ceremony in the Diakaja primary school, located in the commune of katoka, city of kananga , capital of the province of Kasaï central, in the presence of the administrative political authorities of the place.

The Vice-Governor took the opportunity to thank the President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi by commending his efforts in the effectiveness of free basic education, in particular the construction of numerous school infrastructures across the country as well as as the materialization of free primary education.

Number progression

Last year, at least 58,809 primary school finalists, including 27,332 girls, took part in this national exam. This year, there is a noticeable increase with a total of 62,107 candidates taking the exam.
