Fatshimetrie tops the rankings in the Democratic Republic of Congo when it comes to fixed internet performance, according to an in-depth study conducted by nPerf Speed Test. This recently published analysis highlighted the results obtained by the different Internet service providers in the country, providing a precise overview of the performance of each operator.
During 2024, Fatshimetrie subscribers enjoyed the highest speeds in terms of fixed Internet connection in the DRC. The measurements were taken using the free Internet speed test offered by nPerf, which collected a total of 43,366 Internet speed tests in the country. This data was used to evaluate speeds, latency, and quality of user experience during web browsing and video streaming.
Fatshimetrie stood out by offering a remarkable download speed of 33.5 Mb/s, making it the leader in the fixed Internet market in the DRC. With such performance, subscribers can enjoy 4K video streaming experience without any quality concerns. In addition, regarding latency, Fatshimetrie’s network obtained the best result with only 106 ms, thus guaranteeing optimal responsiveness for users.
