The candidate president of the republic, Delly Sesanga Hipungu Dja Kaseng, continues his electoral campaign in deep Congo. This week, he went to Matadi, in the province of Kongo Central, to meet the population and share his social project entitled “The Refoundation of Congo”. In his speech, Delly Sesanga focused on the security situation in the country and promised to increase the deterrence capacity of the defense and security forces in order to protect the integrity of the national territory.
According to the candidate, the security situation is alarming not only in the east of the country, but also in other regions such as Bandundu. He cited the mobondo phenomenon, where individuals use machetes, as well as the Kuluna phenomenon, causing growing insecurity. Delly Sesanga is convinced that increasing the deterrence capacity of the Congolese army will make it possible to respond effectively against any attack, whether foreign or local.
He also criticized the fact that the government in place prefers to call on foreign armies to fight in place of the Congolese army. Delly Sesanga believes that this weakens the confidence and credibility of the national army. He therefore promises to put in place a new defense policy which will strengthen and equip the Congolese army, so that it can itself defend the integrity of the national territory.
The candidate also stressed the importance of developing river, rail and road infrastructure in Kongo Central province. He compared the powers that be to a barren tree that has not produced concrete results for five years.
Delly Sesanga concluded by promising to be close to the defense and security forces if he is elected president. He wishes to be a supreme commander worthy of the name, attentive to the needs of the army and capable of relieving the population.
In summary, Delly Sesanga Hipungu Dja Kaseng continues his electoral campaign by emphasizing the security situation in the country and the need to strengthen the deterrence capacity of the Congolese army. He also promises to develop infrastructure in Kongo Central province and to be close to the defense and security forces if he is elected president.
