The Business Climate Unit (CCA) in the Democratic Republic of Congo presented, Monday, May 29 in Kinshasa, the draft Emergency Plan to improve the business climate with a view to providing rapid and concrete responses to certain urgent issues. that hinder economic development.

The draft plan was drawn up in collaboration with the Prime Minister and the Minister of State in charge of the Plan, after several meetings and preparatory work carried out by the CCA.

Among the proposed reforms, we find the rationalization of tax audits, the creation of a mediation committee for commercial disputes, as well as other measures aimed at strengthening the legal and judicial security of companies.

The implementation of these reforms will be monitored by the CCA, the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Planning, which will assess the implementation of the Emergency Plan in September and November 2023.

The CCA, a structure attached to the Presidency of the Republic, is responsible for studying, analyzing and proposing initiatives to improve the economic environment and the business climate in the DRC. Its main mission is to assist the President of the Republic on all issues relating to the improvement of the economic environment and the business climate.

This Emergency Business Climate Improvement Plan is an initiative that will enable the Democratic Republic of Congo to strengthen its attractiveness to investors and promote sustainable and inclusive economic development.
