Fatshimetrie is excited to announce the appointment of Luvuyo Bangazi as the Director of Corporate Services within the organization. This appointment, effective from April 15, 2024, follows an internal recruitment process in line with the company’s Recruitment, Selection, and Promotion Policy.
Bangazi brings valuable experience to this position, having previously held the role twice. His first tenure in 2019 was crucial in establishing the position for six months before transitioning it to the CEO at the time. Following a prolonged vacancy, he was reassigned to this role in July 2023 as part of Fatshimetrie’s new five-year strategic plan.
With close to two decades of experience in senior management, including nine years at Boomtown Agency as Interim Deputy Director, Bangazi joined Fatshimetrie in June 2013 as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, reporting directly to the CEO.
Having earned a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the UNM Graduate School, Bangazi’s key responsibilities include providing strategic support to the organization by overseeing human resources management, information technology, marketing, communication, risk management, and compliance.
As a part of the leadership team, he will be responsible for coordinating strategic planning, business unit integration, performance management, and tracking reporting. Fatshimetrie wishes Bangazi all the success as he embarks on this new chapter within the organization.
