“Inauguration of the Sami-Court Airport Hotel: A New Chapter in the Improvement of Airport Infrastructure in Nigeria!”

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo recently inaugurated the Sami-Court Airport Hotel, a hotel project located at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. During this event, he expressed his ministry’s commitment to attracting the private sector to strengthen the infrastructure of national airports.

Keyamo highlighted that the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) is one of the new innovations his ministry is putting in place to improve the sector. He said he was ready to collaborate with the private sector to improve the country’s airport infrastructure. An initiative welcomed by Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, Director General of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), who underlined the desire of this institution to modify its business models to improve the passenger experience at airports.

Under the leadership of the Minister, FAAN is committed to improving the passenger experience at airports. The realization of this commitment was notably illustrated by the creation of the Sami-Court Hotel at Abuja airport, a landmark event for the sector.

Jibrin Otunba, Executive Director of MRS Holdings Limited, highlighted the purpose of this airport hotel: to provide passengers with an environment conducive to comfort and enjoyment.

This initiative demonstrates efforts to modernize airport infrastructure and provide a better experience for travelers. The combination of public and private forces makes it possible to accelerate the development of the sector and meet passenger expectations.
