**Recognition and Commitment: NUPRC rewarded for its Excellence**
The presentation ceremony of the prestigious The Sun Public Service Award, held this weekend at the Expo Convention Center of the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, was an opportunity for the Director General of NUPRC (Petroleum and Gas in the Northern Region), Mr. Komolafe, to underline the organization’s commitment to the growth of the oil sector.
During this event, Mr. Komolafe highlighted the importance of the regulations put in place by the NUPRC to develop the country’s hydrocarbon resources and promote an increase in productivity and income.
After receiving the award, Mr. Komolafe told reporters that the NUPRC had created about 17 regulations in two and a half years, thereby ensuring stability and predictability of activities in the upstream sector, unlike before the implementation. PIA Square.
“For us at NUPRC, our commitment to the Federal Republic of Nigeria is paramount. Over two and a half years, we have worked quietly and assiduously to implement our statutory mandate effectively, with very positive results,” he said.
Mr. Komolafe stressed that this Award was a testament to the achievements of the NUPRC and would serve as motivation to continue working for Nigeria. He also stressed that the nation-building process was a collective effort that required the contribution of all citizens.
In conclusion, he affirmed that the NUPRC was determined to maintain the confidence reposed in it and continue to serve the country in the best possible manner to support the development and economic growth of Nigeria.
