“Interception of trucks loaded with agricultural products: a key operation in the fight against smuggling”

Traveling along the Gwadabawa-Illela road, vehicles loaded with agricultural produce were stopped by the NCS spokesperson, Sokoto Command. According to Abubakar Chafe, the number of products being transported aroused suspicion, leading to the interception of the trucks.

The trucks were seized and the investigation is underway to determine the owners and destinations of the foodstuffs. This operation was carried out by a combined team of the Sokoto Command of the NCS, operatives of the Federal Operation Unit and the Service Intelligence Unit.

This interception highlights the importance of closely monitoring the transport of agricultural products and ensuring their origin and destination. It is crucial to ensure that food is transported legally and safely.
