BGFIBank RDC obtains PCI-DSS certification, recognition of its banking data security.
Kinshasa, July 21, 2023 – BGFIBank DRC, a subsidiary of the BGFIBank Group, was recently PCI-DSS certified by DATA Protect, a company specializing in information security. This certification is in addition to the two other certifications already obtained by the bank, namely AML 30000 and ISO 9001 version 2015.
PCI-DSS certification is a standard enacted by international payment systems such as Visa and Mastercard. It aims to guarantee the reliability, assurance and security of payment media, data and processes. By obtaining this certification, BGFIBank RDC reinforces the confidence of its customers and demonstrates its commitment to the protection of personal data and payment cards.
