“Terrorism in North Kivu: the ADF strikes again, seven victims in a deadly ambush”

ADF terrorists, once again at the center of the news, have sowed terror in the Bambuba-Kisiki group, in the Beni territory in North Kivu. On Friday, December 22, these attackers set up a double ambush for users of the Eringeti-Oïcha road, killing seven people.

Sources on site report that the first ambush took place early in the morning in Kokola, causing the death of five people who were going to the field. Two other people were killed near Eringeti and their motorbike was set on fire. The terrorists managed to escape after their attack, leaving behind a grieving community.

These tragic events occur after the presidential, legislative and municipal elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The local population strongly condemns these violent acts perpetrated by terrorists and calls for increased vigilance.

Insecurity in the Beni region remains a major concern, and this new attack only highlights the urgency of concerted action to end the threat posed by the ADF. The authorities and security forces must redouble their efforts to protect civilians and fight against these terrorist groups.

It is essential to remember that the fight against terrorism is not limited to national borders, but requires international cooperation. Neighboring countries and the international community must support the Democratic Republic of Congo in its efforts to eradicate this threat and ensure the security of its citizens.

In conclusion, this terrorist act perpetrated by the ADF in the territory of Beni is a sad reality which recalls the importance of security and international cooperation in the fight against terrorism. It is crucial to continue supporting efforts to end this threat and protect vulnerable populations.
