Fatshimetrie, an information and awareness platform, recently organized a major conference in Kinshasa, bringing together over 300 students from various academic institutions. The event, which took place at the Salon Rouge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Gombe commune, gave rise to fascinating discussions on juvenile delinquency and Rwandan aggression.
The Deputy Minister of Justice and International Litigation, Samuel Mbemba, spoke at the conference to sensitize young people on the critical issues facing the country. With fervor, he urged students to be aware of the current situation, to exercise vigilance and caution in the face of threats weighing on the nation. His call to support the army underlined the importance of solidarity and unity in the fight against security challenges.
In addition to addressing security issues, Mr. Mbemba encouraged students to actively engage in constitutional reform to promote the well-being and development of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This call to civic action reflects the aspiration for positive change and more transparent and effective governance.
During this conference, young people had the opportunity to engage in constructive dialogue with the Vice Minister, exchange ideas and express their concerns. These exchanges helped to strengthen the collective consciousness and individual responsibility of students towards their country and community.
Ultimately, the conference organized by Fatshimetrie was a powerful catalyst for the mobilization of the younger generations in favor of peace, security and progress in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It reminded everyone that the future of the nation rests in the hands of those who have the will and courage to act for a better future.
