At the end of the year, Prime Minister Judith Sumiwa undertook a series of visits to the renovation and construction sites of the urban road network in Kinshasa. This initiative is part of an approach aimed at closely monitoring the progress of the work and ensuring its quality. Accompanied by Governor Daniel Bumba, she visited several strategic sites to observe the progress of the work and discuss the challenges to be met in order to restore the Congolese capital to its former appeal.

The first stop on this tour was marked by the discovery of Kulumba Avenue, which is currently undergoing renovation work in the commune of Masina. This artery, which connects Poids Louvières Avenue to 15th Rue de Limete, promises to contribute to the fluidity of traffic by relieving congestion on Lumumba Boulevard. From there, the visit continued on Flambeau Avenue, passing through Tombalbaye, Wangata, Kabambare, Zigida, before joining Kisangani Avenue in Bandal and finally arriving at Pumbu in Gombe.

On Colonel Ebeya Avenue, a positive observation was made: concrete has already been poured between Huileries and Wangata Avenues, testifying to the seriousness and efficiency of the work undertaken. However, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of completing these projects rigorously, insisting on the completion of the work within the agreed deadlines.

The residents of Kinshasa welcomed the efforts made by the authorities to remedy the dilapidated road infrastructure, in line with the vision of President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi. These efforts aim not only to improve the mobility of citizens, but also to restore the Congolese capital to its former glory.

This initiative to rehabilitate the urban road network of Kinshasa is part of a dynamic of development and modernization of the capital, offering new future prospects for its inhabitants. By working for quality road infrastructure, the Congolese government demonstrates its willingness to meet the concrete needs of the population and to guarantee a pleasant and secure living environment for all.
