The transformative power of solar energy for the CMS Bariga community

On 9th December 2024, JMG Limited inaugurated a solar energy system at CMS Bariga Primary Health Centre in Lagos, marking a significant step forward for the community. This initiative marks the beginning of a new era, with the objective of extending solar energy solutions to more health centres for a healthier and sustainable future.
On 9th December 2024, a symbolic and pivotal event took place in Lagos, marking a significant step forward for the CMS Bariga community. JMG Limited, a company renowned for its electrical and mechanical solutions, inaugurated a solar energy system at the CMS Bariga Primary Health Centre. This project is not just about providing electricity to a facility; it is truly about empowering a community.

At the official commissioning ceremony of the solar energy system donated by JMG Limited to the Primary Health Centre, CMS Bariga, the Group Managing Director, Mr. Rabi Jammal, accompanied by other staff members, expressed his pride.

This new solar energy system provides a reliable and renewable source of energy, enabling the health centre to provide uninterrupted services 24/7. With nearly 60 dedicated staff working on a rotating basis, this initiative addresses the critical need for constant electricity to support vital medical equipment, vaccine refrigeration, lighting and communication systems.

As part of its broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, this initiative reflects JMG’s commitment to sustainability, community well-being and environmental protection. “We are not just providing energy; we are creating a legacy of hope, progress and empowerment,” said Rabi Jammal, Group Managing Director, JMG Limited, at the commissioning ceremony.
