Fatshimetrie: Nine people, including civilians and soldiers, have lost their lives in one month during attacks by Mai-Mai militiamen in the Malemba Nkulu region, in the Haut-Katanga province of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The inhabitants of this territory live in constant fear of incursions by the Mai-Mai, armed groups operating outside the authority of the State and spreading terror among the population. The administrator of Malemba Nkulu, Joel Kayembe, deplored these heinous acts and highlighted the unacceptable violence of this insurrectional movement in his jurisdiction.
