This meeting took place at the headquarters of the Digital Creativity Center in Egypt, “Creativa”, in the presence of several executives from both ministries.

During this meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in carrying out joint projects between the two ministries, with the aim of achieving digital transformation within the Ministry of Culture, using communication and information technologies to facilitate access to the content of the Ministry of Culture website through digital platforms.

Among the projects discussed are the Egypt Digital Heritage Portal, the project to develop the electronic portal and mobile application of the Egyptian Opera, and the Electronic Document Archive (ERA).

Particular attention has been paid to the development of the Egypt Digital Heritage Portal, which aims to showcase the country’s rich cultural and historical heritage through digital resources accessible to all. This innovative project promises to enable citizens and culture enthusiasts to explore and discover Egypt’s history in an interactive and engaging way.

Similarly, the project to develop the Egyptian Opera’s electronic portal and mobile application aims to provide the public with easier access to cultural information and events organized by this iconic institution. This initiative is part of a process of modernizing and promoting the Egyptian cultural scene nationally and internationally.

Finally, the Electronic Document Archive (ERA) represents another catalyst for the digital transformation of the Ministry of Culture, by allowing the preservation and consultation of historical and cultural documents in a more efficient and accessible manner.

The constructive dialogue between the Ministers of Communication and Culture demonstrates the importance attached to the convergence of technology and culture to enrich citizens’ experiences and enhance Egypt’s cultural influence. These ambitious projects open new perspectives for a wider and more engaging dissemination of Egypt’s cultural heritage, thus offering current and future generations the opportunity to connect and immerse themselves in the richness and diversity of its history.
