At the heart of the case, a prophetess who was ministering in a church was involved in a shocking incident that led to the death of a young woman, Adesuwa, during childbirth. The circumstances of the tragedy shed light on the disturbing practices that took place within the church.

According to reports, the deceased’s brother alerted the authorities after learning of his sister’s death in the prophetess’ church, located in the Oke-Aro area. Young Adesuwa reportedly succumbed to complications during childbirth, and her baby also died shortly after birth.
