Indeed, recently, the Network of Business Creation and Development Supporters (NACDE) unveiled its strategic roadmap for 2025, valued at $2.6 million. During a workshop held in November 2024, Éliane Munkeni, Chair of the NACDE Board of Directors, stressed the importance of this mapping to identify the trainers, mentors and advisors essential to supporting entrepreneurs. She highlighted the key role of these professionals in business development and the economic prosperity of the country.
This action plan also includes training and the recruitment of support structures, and aims to create a solid basis for the harmonization of knowledge and methodologies within the Congolese entrepreneurial ecosystem. Kipey Ezekiel, CEO of the network of business creation and development support providers, stressed the importance of establishing standards and tools to facilitate the work of support providers.
Taty Futila, Deputy Inspector General at the Ministry of Vocational Training, welcomed this initiative as a response to the expectations of Minister Marc Ekila, emphasizing its role in promoting vocational training in the DRC. This project reaffirms the government’s commitment to supporting the country’s economic development through concrete actions aimed at improving the entrepreneurial climate.
The active deployment of the NACDE from January 2025 with the creation of commissions dedicated to identifying and raising awareness among support providers marks the beginning of a new era in supporting Congolese entrepreneurs. The main objective is to unify approaches and develop standards adapted to local realities, to enable effective and sustainable collaboration between all stakeholders involved.
