As part of the 11th Conference of Governors, which took place recently, the Governor of the city of Kinshasa, Daniel Bumba Lubaki, committed to actively participating in discussions aimed at accelerating the development program of the 145 territories. This strategic meeting, led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Jacquemin Shabani, brought together all the provincial governors to consider ways to effectively implement this ambitious project.

During his speeches, Governor Bumba highlighted the crucial importance of this program for improving the living conditions of local populations. “It is imperative to act quickly and significantly to improve the living conditions of our fellow citizens,” he stressed during a press conference.

The 145 Territories Development Program, launched by the country’s central authorities, aims to reduce socio-economic disparities between urban and rural areas by implementing development projects at the local level. This is a large-scale initiative that requires close coordination between the various levels of governance.

The 11th Conference of Governors, chaired by Head of State Félix Tshisekedi from 27 to 29 November, provides a platform for governors to take stock of the progress of ongoing projects and to define new strategic directions for the development of their respective provinces.

At the same time, this event also serves to highlight the commitment of local authorities to progress and territorial equity, by highlighting the efforts made to strengthen the socio-economic fabric of each region of the country.

The leadership and determination displayed by Governor Daniel Bumba Lubaki during this meeting illustrate the common will of political actors to work together to build a better future for all citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through their collaboration and commitment, they are laying the foundations for harmonious and inclusive development, meeting the needs and aspirations of the entire Congolese population.
