Fatshimetrie recently published a weather analysis of Egypt, indicating that the country is expected to see a significant drop in temperatures during the day on Monday, making it one of the coldest days of November. According to the forecast of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, the thermometer will reach 19°C in Greater Cairo during the day, with a very significant cooling expected during the night in some areas.
The coastal and inland regions of the country are likely to experience rain showers of different intensities, especially in Alexandria, Marsa Matrouh, Damietta, Port Said, Daqahlia, Beheira, Cairo and Giza.
As for Monday’s weather, the weather will be cold during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coast, moderate in northern Upper Egypt and South Sinai, warm in southern Upper Egypt, becoming cold during the night and early in the morning in all regions.
Weather reports indicate active winds in some areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coast, raising sand and dust in South Sinai, and in northern and southern Upper Egypt intermittently.
In addition, light to moderate rain is expected in areas of the northern coast, central Sinai, Suez Canal cities, Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.
Forecasters expect strong turbulence in the Mediterranean and Red Seas. Waves could reach four to six meters in height with northwesterly surface winds in the Mediterranean, while the Red Sea will also be rough with waves of three to four meters and northwesterly surface winds.
