Reinventing Kinshasa: Towards a safer and more pleasant metropolis

In the relentless quest for a constant improvement in the quality of life of the inhabitants of Kinshasa, a highly significant meeting recently took place, bringing together the governor of the city, Daniel Bumba, and the deputies Matata Ponyo and Adrien Bokele. At the heart of the debates, crucial issues such as the sanitation of the Congolese capital, the fight against anarchic constructions and the efficient management of urban traffic.

The urgency of fighting against the insalubrity that plagues certain neighborhoods of Kinshasa was underlined with unwavering determination during this meeting. Former Prime Minister Matata Ponyo and the deputy Adrien Bokele joined their voices to urge vigorous action to eradicate the pollution and filth that tarnish the image of the city. They highlighted the need for severe repression against the illegal constructions that contribute to floods and human tragedies.
