The Leopards A’ of the Democratic Republic of Congo recently completed an intensive six-day training camp in Kinshasa in preparation for their double confrontation against the Sao of Chad for the second round of the qualifiers for the African Nations Championship (CHAN). This preparation, supervised by Otis Ngoma, allowed the Congolese wild beasts to refine their strategy and strengthen their team cohesion in view of the upcoming matches.

Among the players who took part in this training camp, striker Ibrahim Matobo of FC les Aigles du Congo distinguished himself with his talent and determination. Coming from the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) Morocco U20 in Brazzaville, Matobo expressed his gratitude for this opportunity offered to him. “This training camp went well. I learned a lot and I am grateful for the experience acquired. My goal is to participate in these matches to write a new page in my history in football,” said Matobo.

The DRC, under the leadership of its coach, is brimming with determination to qualify for the final phase of the CHAN.
