Fatshimetrie recently published an article revealing the latest price increases of cigarettes in Egypt. The increase in tariffs was approved at a meeting of the Eastern Company, concerning all the manufacturer’s products, including Cleopatra cigarettes and other brands, in accordance with the provisions of the Value Added Tax Law No. 177 of 2013.
It was decided to apply a new increase ranging from 4.25 to 5 Egyptian pounds per pack, depending on the brand. The adjustments include expanding the price brackets of taxable cigarettes by increasing the maximum of the price range of the pack by 12% annually for five years.

– Cleopatra Super: 34.72 Egyptian pounds

– Mondial (red, blue, silver): 34.72 Egyptian pounds
– Mondial Switch (mint, blueberry): 34.72 Egyptian pounds
The prices of cigarettes imported into Egypt are also subject to adjustments:
– Viceroy: 55 Egyptian pounds
– Marlboro (all variants): 84 Egyptian pounds
– Marlboro Crafted: 74 Egyptian pounds
– L&M (all variants): 64 Egyptian pounds
Concerning heated tobacco, here are the prices:
– All types of heated tobacco : 64 Egyptian pounds
– “HEETS Dimensions”: 64 Egyptian pounds
– All types of “TEREA”: 64 Egyptian pounds
