Each standing committee has been carefully constituted, with members from different political sensitivities and representing various regions of the country. The diversity of profiles and skills within these committees makes it possible to address in a thorough and informed manner the multiple issues that will be submitted for their examination.

In this new system, each committee plays a key role in examining issues falling within its remit, as well as in evaluating public policies and legislation in force. The members of the offices of the standing committees are entrusted with the heavy responsibility of ensuring the proper functioning of these technical bodies, by ensuring the relevance and quality of the debates as well as the taking of informed decisions.

This body will have the mission of promoting dialogue and consultation between the different political sensitivities represented in the Senate.

In this new configuration, the Senate is now ready to fully begin its parliamentary work, under the leadership of a bureau ready to convene the conference of presidents and establish a busy schedule of parliamentary sessions.
