This news, relayed by an official press release, comes after the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of National Defense, Guy Kabombo, to this camp located in the capital of the territory of the same name, in the province of Haut-Katanga in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The particular attention paid by the Deputy Prime Minister to the social conditions of the military, in the face of the extreme dilapidation of the real estate and health infrastructure, underlines the importance given to the health and well-being of the troops. Discussions with the camp staff highlighted essential needs on the professional and social levels, thus offering an opportunity for significant improvement for the entire military community.

This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Governor of the province, Jacques Kyabula, the national deputies of Haut-Katanga and the commander of the 22nd military region, Eddy Kapend Irung. The trip of the Deputy Prime Minister, of which Kipushi was the fifth stop after visits to Kasumbalesa, Lubumbashi, Likasi and Kamina, demonstrates the constant commitment to the well-being of the armed forces in the region.

Everywhere he went, Guy Kabombo was honored with military greetings befitting his rank, while receiving warm cheers from the families of the soldiers.
