November 12, 2024 will mark the beginning of a new era, with the inauguration of Senator Monday Okpebholo as the governor-elect. At the inaugural meeting of the Joint Transition Committee of the state, both parties expressed their commitment to a smooth transition from the current government led by Governor Godwin Obaseki to the next administration.
The team of the current governor, led by the State Secretary to Government (SSG), Joseph Eboigbe, stressed the transparency and openness of their administration.
