**Fatshimetrie: A New Era of Justice in Lualaba Province**
In an effort to establish a true rule of law and put an end to unjust practices, the province of Lualaba, located in the southeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo, is the scene of significant changes. The Minister of Justice, Constant Mutamba, recently undertook a mission to this region to tackle the untouchable regime and land grabs. Governor Fifi Masuka Saïni pledged to support these actions, thus aligning with President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo’s vision for a just and equitable state.
The objective of Minister Mutamba’s visit was multiple. He began by assessing the implementation of the banking of legal fees and conducted popular consultations as part of the Estates-General of Justice. This approach aims to involve the population in the justice reform processes and to gather their concerns and expectations.
During his visit to the Dilala penitentiary center, Minister Mutamba noted the conditions of detention and work of the penitentiary and judicial services. His decision to grant conditional release to nine detainees detained without files and arbitrarily arrested shows a strong commitment to fight against injustices and restore equity and justice for all.
The popular consultation led by Minister Mutamba at the Kolwezi Post Office Square made it possible to gather the concerns and needs of the local population. These wishes will serve as a basis for the next States-General of Justice, with the aim of proposing appropriate and equitable reforms.
The commitment of Governor Fifi Masuka Saïni to support the actions of the Ministry of Justice is a positive sign for the future of the province of Lualaba. By joining forces, they are working towards a more transparent, equitable and rights-respecting justice system for all citizens.
By ending the untouchable regime and fighting against land grabs, Lualaba province is opening a new era of justice and equity. These actions mark an important step towards consolidating the rule of law and protecting the rights of all citizens.
