The Traveling Mission of the Governor of Kongo Central: Towards a Prosperous Future for Songololo

Fatshimetrie, October 12, 2024 – The Governor of Kongo Central, Grâce Nkuanga Masuangi Bilolo, recently completed an official roaming mission in the territory of Songololo, marking a key step in his approach to the development of the province.

This mission, which began in Kimpese and extended to the Lufu border, allowed Governor Bilolo to meet with local populations, assess their living conditions and discuss the actions required to meet their needs. Security, health and education aspects were at the heart of the Governor’s concerns throughout his trip.

In Kimpese, concrete actions were undertaken, such as the launch of work to modernize agricultural roads and the granting of motorcycles to the Congolese National Police to strengthen the fight against insecurity, as well as health equipment to the local health zone.

In Kasi, the governor announced the construction of a new primary school and provided sanitation equipment to improve the services of the health center. Similarly, at the Lufu border, measures were taken to eliminate military and police harassment, with significant grants for the village of Mawete.

Governor Bilolo’s commitment to the well-being of his population was also demonstrated by the coverage of hospitalization costs for several patients in Nduizi, accompanied by a donation of mattresses for the health center.

This mission benefited from the support of members of the provincial government and local elected officials, thus demonstrating close collaboration in the quest for a prosperous and safe Kongo Central for all its inhabitants.
