Strengthening urban planning services in Matadi: The significant visit of Minister Fiston Lubaki

Fatshimetrie, October 12, 2024 – The urban planning and housing sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo was the focus of attention during the recent visit of the provincial Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, Fisheries, Livestock, Urban Planning and Housing, Fiston Lubaki, to Matadi. This visit, which is part of an approach of proximity and knowledge of the realities on the ground, allowed the Minister and his delegation to learn about the working conditions of the provincial housing and urban planning services.

The objective of this visit was not only to demonstrate the government’s support for these services, but also to strengthen collaboration and synergy between the Minister’s office and the various attached services.
