Fatshimetrie, October 11, 2024 – During a ceremony filled with symbols, the President of the Senate of the Democratic Republic of Congo handed over new buses to the Senate administration. This event, which took place in the parking lot of the Palais du Peuple, marked an important step in improving the working conditions of the members of this institution.
In his speech, the President of the Senate stressed the importance of these new vehicles to facilitate the mobility of administrative staff. These buses fill a gap in the fleet of vehicles of the Senate administration, thus offering agents and civil servants the opportunity to get to work more easily. This initiative is part of an approach aimed at strengthening the infrastructure and resources made available to Senate employees, in order to guarantee optimal functioning of the institution.
By handing over these new vehicles, President Sama Lukonde expressed his desire to promote close collaboration between the administration and senators.
