**Rural Development in the Democratic Republic of Congo: A Strong Commitment to Improving Infrastructure and the Local Economy**
In a move resolutely focused on rural development in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Minister of State for Rural Development, Muhindo Nzangi Butondo, recently visited the province of Sud-Ubangi, specifically Gemena. His goal: to open up the region and revive the Integrated Development Center (CDI) of Bwamanda to boost the local economy.
During his visit, the Minister stressed the importance of building new road infrastructure on the outskirts of Gemena, the provincial capital.
