On this historic day marking Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State delivered an inspiring address at an ecumenical thanksgiving service at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Asaba. The governor urged Nigerians to remain resilient and not be overwhelmed by the economic turmoil gripping the country, stressing that hard times do not last forever.

On the delivery of quality projects in Delta State, the governor affirmed his determination not to tolerate poor quality works. He cautioned contractors and site engineers against engaging in any unethical practice, stressing the importance of integrity in the execution of tasks.
