Fatshimetrie, September 26, 2024 – In an effort to clean up public spaces and ensure sanitation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a dedicated team cleared the garbage that cluttered the entrance to the Pumbu market, located in the commune of Mont-Ngafula in western Kinshasa. A commendable initiative supported by the mayor of Mont-Ngafula, Séverin Lumbu, in line with the vision of the Head of State and the governor of the city of Kinshasa, Daniel Bumba.
Indeed, this “Coup de poing” operation embodies a concrete step towards promoting public hygiene and the well-being of citizens. The commitment of the municipality of Mont-Ngafula to making sanitation a daily issue is essential to preserve a healthy and pleasant living environment for all. The mobilization of various actors, such as notables, young people, mothers, churches, is a guarantee of success in maintaining the cleanliness of the commune.
Furthermore, we can salute the prior initiative of Mayor Lumbu who developed a Communal Development Plan based on fundamental pillars such as the development of human capital, the strengthening of good governance, and the consolidation of peace. These actions demonstrate a strong political will to promote the well-being of the population and to establish an environment conducive to social and economic development.
In conclusion, the evacuation of garbage at the entrance to the Pumbu city market in Mont-Ngafula demonstrates a positive dynamic in favor of urban sanitation and the promotion of public health. This approach, supported by a clear vision of the local authorities, is part of a desire to build a better future for all the inhabitants of the commune.
