The Flame of Women: When Committed Music Fights Domestic Violence

Fatshimetrie, September 25, 2024 – Slam artist Bila Ntambwe Daniel, known as the “Untutored Poet,” is preparing to release his new album entitled “La flamme de la femme,” which addresses domestic violence with depth and sensitivity. This committed work, composed of 11 tracks, aims to highlight the condition of women and fight against gender-based violence, particularly domestic violence.

In a poignant statement, Bila Ntambwe Daniel explains that this album is a call for awareness, an alert to all those who mistreat their partners in the privacy of their homes. Through tracks such as “S.O.S,” he wants to give a voice to all these women who suffer in silence, unable to claim their rights in the face of violence.

The artist also emphasizes the importance of celebrating love and affection in his music, because according to him, talking about women is also talking about love. For him, women embody tenderness, compassion and unity within society.

Originally from Kisangani, Bila Ntambwe Daniel is the founder of the “Plume Boyomaise” platform, which promotes literature and public speaking in his region. His commitment to promoting culture and his hard work are reflected in the genesis of this album, the fruit of several years of effort and collaboration.

This musical project, initiated in 2022 and refined in his hometown, demonstrates the artist’s determination to promote slam, a musical style that is still little explored in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His talent and commitment were also rewarded during a ceremony that recognized his achievements over the past two years.

In short, “La flamme de la femme” promises to be a poignant album, full of sensitivity and reflection, offering a voice to victims of domestic violence and celebrating love and unity. Bila Ntambwe Daniel is thus part of a committed and humanist artistic approach, inviting his audience to reflection and emotion through his music.
