Fatshimetrie, September 26, 2024 – The University of Kananga (UNIKAN) has just made a major breakthrough in the field of research with the approval of its center for interdisciplinary studies and research, CERIKAN, as well as its annual review, by the supervising ministry. This news was announced in a recently published academic report.
The vitality of research at UNIKAN is highlighted by the publication of an issue of 8 articles during the 2023-2024 academic year, while new articles are already in preparation for future issues. In addition, a treatise on research methodology in the social sciences, resulting from the work of CERIKAN, has been made available to the public.
The university has also successfully organized scientific days in collaboration with renowned partners such as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the National Agency for the Promotion of Investments (ANAPI). These events have highlighted the dynamism of research in various fields, ranging from medicine to law and public health.
UNIKAN can also boast a quality teaching staff, comprising 7 professors, 51 heads of research, 132 assistants and 2 2nd class librarians.
