These platforms, such as Tiktok, sometimes seem to become a breeding ground for the dissemination of shocking content, bordering on moral depravity. Faced with this worrying phenomenon, the authorities are forced to intervene to preserve collective morality and combat the impunity that reigns online.
In this context, the initiative of the Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Constant Mutamba, to give firm instructions to the judiciary to combat the spread of indecent content on social networks is commendable. The fight against moral depravity through these platforms has become a priority to ensure compliance with the law and protect vulnerable individuals exposed to this harmful content.
Indeed, the proliferation of reprehensible acts on social media raises essential questions about the limits of freedom of expression and individual responsibility.
