Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf Announces Major Humanitarian Measures in Fatshimetrie State

Fatshimetrie witnessed a touching scene this week as Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf announced at the weekly meeting of the State Executive Council a crucial humanitarian initiative. In a gesture of compassion towards flood victims in the state, the governor said houses would be provided to help mitigate the devastating effects of the floods. In collaboration with the state’s Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, the government is also working to provide food and basic necessities to flood victims. In addition to this, chairs and desks will be distributed to 220,000 primary and secondary school students as part of a relief package.
