This ceremony marked the end of a life dedicated to the service of faith and community, recalling the memory of an exceptional man.

Born at the Soa Catholic mission in 1952, Bishop Pascal Ngonzo left behind an impressive legacy. A diligent student, he completed his primary education at the Soa mission before continuing his school career at the Bongo-Yasa Catholic mission, where he obtained a state diploma in veterinary medicine. His commitment to his faith led him to be ordained bishop in 2022, a key moment in his religious vocation.
