Governor Adeleke of Osun State, Nigeria, recently took a commendable health initiative for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). This action demonstrates his commitment to inclusiveness and equal access to quality healthcare for all citizens, irrespective of their circumstances.

This decision by Adeleke to approve the procurement of necessary equipment for PWDs to improve their quality of life is a tangible testament to his determination to put his campaign promises into tangible form to positively impact the lives of the people.

This initiative, which involves providing aids to PWDs, is a testament to his commitment to improving their overall well-being. He encourages all potential beneficiaries to take advantage of this opportunity by enrolling in the free health insurance scheme.

Governor Adeleke’s vision and the tremendous strides he has made in transforming Osun State since he assumed office are being lauded by many observers. His visionary leadership and determination to provide barrier-free quality healthcare to the people of the state deserves to be commended.

The fact that the governor has directed the Osun Health Insurance Agency to commence free registration of all PWDs under their health insurance scheme shows his determination to deliver on his campaign promise of building an inclusive government irrespective of class, religion or political affiliation.

It is encouraging to see that beneficiaries can go to their respective ward secretariats to register for free till August 8, thereby covering all federal constituencies in the state.
