The recent major event that shook the community of mothers of the FEPACO Nzambe Malamu Church of the evangelical province of Bas-Fleuve in Boma deserves our full attention. Indeed, from July 23 to 25, 2024, these devoted women organized an exceptional convention under the evocative theme “May the Lord speak in my favor”. This courageous and inspiring initiative took place within the mother parish located at the Kiskiem bridge, in the commune of Nzadi in Boma.
The president of the FEPACO mothers of Bas Fleuve, Mrs. Bernadette Masiala, underlined the importance and singularity of this edition. In these dark times when war is hitting our country hard, the words vibrate with hope: “It is now time for the Lord to speak in favor of this woman who is abused, killed every day in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.” These words resonate as a call to action, a cry of solidarity towards those who suffer in silence.
The essence of this convention transcends the boundaries of a simple religious meeting. It is a true call to benevolence, to collective awareness. Ms. Masiala urged the participants to seek divine grace, to reflect on their way of life and to remember that their existence is not limited to themselves, but encompasses an entire community in search of peace and support.
The diversity of the delegations present, coming from different corners of the Bas-Fleuve, underlines the unity and solidarity that animate this Christian community. Over the course of these intense days, prayer, teachings and hymns have woven a spiritual fabric filled with emotions and sharing.
Thus, this convention of mothers of the FEPACO Nzambe Malamu Church will remain engraved in memories as a strong moment, carrying a message of hope and action. By imploring divine grace for their country and for their suffering fellow citizens, these women recalled the importance of solidarity and benevolence in a world tormented by conflicts and injustices.
In conclusion, the initiative of the FEPACO mothers of Bas Fleuve in Boma is a vibrant example of the commitment and determination of women in the fight for a better future. Their voice, carried by conviction and faith, resonates as a call to action and solidarity, inviting everyone to stand up for peace and justice.
