The youth of the 13th CBFC called to embody Christian values ​​and patience

Fatshimétrie, July 2, 2024 – The youth of the 13th Baptist Community of the Congo River (CBFC)/Equateur-South were recently called to patience and trust in divine sovereignty, during a religious service marking the end of activities young people in Mbandaka, in the northwest of the Democratic Republic of Congo. During this event, Marcel Popoli, in charge of projects within the youth department, reminded the assembly of the importance of walking in the will of God, displaying patience as a fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Drawing on a passage from the book of Genesis, Popoli encouraged young people to place their trust in God and avoid occult practices such as corruption and fraud, stressing that patience and hard work will lead to results beneficial. He also underlined the idea that every Christian must be a good citizen, capable of providing positive solutions to their environment. Highlighting the central message of the event’s theme, “My youth in Christ announces the reign of God”, Popoli urged participants to be agents of transformation, capable of embodying Christian values ​​in all spheres of their life.
