Fatshimetrie, June 29, 2024 – Provincial deputies from Lualaba, in the southeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo, have pledged to come into direct contact with their constituents during the parliamentary recess. In his speech, Jean-Marie Kaseya Tshingambo expressed his intention to travel to the five territories of the province to understand in depth the real problems encountered by residents. He praised the work accomplished by provincial deputies during the March 2024 session, during which major activities such as the elections of governors, vice-governors and senators, as well as the creation of standing committees and parliamentary groups , have been executed.

The session was also marked by the inauguration of the first female Prime Minister and Head of Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mrs. Judith Suminwa Tuluka, and her government in the National Assembly. Jean-Marie Kaseya Tshingambo took the opportunity to pay tribute to the President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, as guarantor of the proper functioning of institutions and peacemaker.
