The composition of the new provincial government of Kinshasa for the year 2024 was recently unveiled by Governor Daniel Bumba. Among the 20 members who make it up, one point particularly attracts attention: the presence of four women in key positions. At the heart of this new government team, Mimie Bikela Mundele stands out by becoming the first woman to occupy the position of Minister of the Interior, Security, Decentralization and Customary Affairs of Kinshasa.
