Fatshimetrie closely followed the launch of the ordinary session of the 2024 State Examination in the Kongo-Central 2 educational province, which started this Monday, June 24. With a total of 15,488 registered candidates, including 6,516 girls in the long cycle and 348 candidates in the short cycle, this major event in the world of education in the Democratic Republic of Congo attracted the attention of the entire nation.
The Territorial Administrator of Mbanza-Ngungu, Willy Makumbani, officially launched the tests at the Cité N’sele 2 center, located within the Bambale School Complex. The ceremony took place in the presence of numerous political-administrative and educational figures, as well as national supervisors, highlighting the importance of this crucial stage for the finalist students.
According to information provided by the Provincial Director, Amos Nzazi Ndofula, nearly 8,231 general education finalists, including 4,502 girls, are in the running for this State Examination. For their part, 7,244 students, including 2,011 girls, are engaged in technical education, while 398 candidates are in the short professional cycle, thus demonstrating the diversity of the sectors represented.
The tests are spread over 4 days, from June 24 to 27, 2024, with a detailed program including general culture, specific branches, sciences, and finally, languages. These different subjects will make it possible to fairly assess the skills and knowledge of candidates, with a view to promoting a successful transition to the academic or professional world.
This session of the 2024 State Examination is therefore of capital importance for these thousands of young Congolese, who aspire to successfully cross this threshold to envisage a promising future.
