Support and Excellence: Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi encourages the finalists of the State Examination

The meeting was held at the Groupe Scolaire du Mont-Amba, in the commune of Lemba in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, First Lady of the country and President of the Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi Foundation, went there to support the finalists of the State Examination.

The exam, which began today, represents a crucial step for more than 962,000 candidates spread across 2,800 centers across the country. For these young people, it is the time to put their knowledge and academic skills to the test, with a view to pursuing higher education and aspiring to a bright future.

Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi stressed the importance of education and encouraged the finalists to give their best. She spoke about her Foundation’s “Excellentia” scholarship program, intended to support the higher education of the best students. These prestigious scholarships are a unique opportunity for finalists who achieve a minimum of 85% in the state examination.
